Sandhya Kajeepeta

Sandhya Kajeepeta is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She is a research associate II at the Vera Institute of Justice. She was previously the Director of Research and Evaluation at the NYC Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence where she led the City’s gender-based violence prevention research agenda. Her research focuses on the causes and consequences of interpersonal, community, and state violence.
